Paws Up For Happy Cat Month!

If you’re a cat lover like me then September is the month for you.

Aggie (short for Miss Agatha Christie), showed up on our doorstep one icy, November Sunday ten years ago.

We tried to ignore her so she would go home but she was still outside meowing by evening time. And the temperature was dropping. So, despite my husband’s assurance that she would find her way home (don’t worry, his bark is worse than his bite) the boys and I let her in the front door. She came in, sniffed around and began making herself at home.

Aggie and her boxes — partners for life

Since no one claimed her, she became ours. Or as cat-lovers know, she adopted us as her family:)

She is a sweetheart, loves to cuddle, play and sleep. She also loves to go camping in the woods.

Why I Like Standing On The Edge

Here is another fun, weekly photo challenge from Daily Post. This week it’s all about the edge!

Here are some dizzying photos from our trip to Niagara Falls, New York. Looking over the edge 🙂

Niagara Falls

Looking over the edge, I get that thrill of excitement and fear mixed. It’s almost hypnotizing in its fascination to imagine the force and power of that water rushing over the edge and dropping thousands of feet. What a beautiful display of the beauty and power of nature!

If you have never seen Niagara Falls, whether from the US side or Canada’s side, you are missing a spectacular place. I recommend it to anyone.
